#BritishBooksChallenge18 – I’m Signing Up!

Posted in blog by

Hello, and Happy December!

Today’s blog post is something fairly new to me as a blogger, and definitely something new to Don’t Bend the SpineThen again, pretty much everything will be new to Don’t Bend the Spine seeing as its still only a few weeks old at the time of writing!

Chelley, of Tales of Yesterday, is hosting the #BritishBooksChallenge18 whereby book bloggers and book lovers alike aim to read and review 12 books by British authors over the year.   I want to take part in a few book related challenges in 2018 to keep me blogging, and more importantly, reading! *signs out of Netflix*  I’m hoping this challenge will help me to reduce my overflowing To Be Read list.  I’m particularly naughty when it comes to Kindle books – I can’t seem to resist the lure of a Kindle Daily Deal.

Here are the books I have chosen as part of the challenge.

How Do You Like Me Now? by Holly Bourne

Random Reads

Hold Back the Stars by Katie Khan

In line with the challenge, I will write a review for each of the books as I read them, so keep checking back if there is a particular one you’d like to read my thoughts on.  As always, if there is a specific book you would like me to review on Don’t Bend the Spine, don’t be afraid to get in touch.
